This giveaway is now closed. The winner was Caroline White – congratulations Caroline!
Taking photographs is probably one of the most important things I do when I travel. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t constantly see the world through my camera lens, but I love looking back on my photos and remembering the places I’ve been to.
Not to mention the fact that they make great conversation starters when they’re displayed in your home.
I’ve always loved surrounding myself with photos but, since I got home a couple of months ago from travelling, I just haven’t had the time to print out pictures from the last three years in Australia and New Zealand.
So, fearing that my walls were going to be bare forever, I was over the moon when Photobox got in touch and asked me to try out their photo-printing service.
On the Photobox website you can get your pictures printed on heaps of different things like phone cases, mugs and canvas prints and even get them made into calendars and books.
Even though I love my photos of beaches and landscapes I’ve always been a fan of Henri Silberman’s black and white photography so I decided to use a 60 x 40.6 Classic Canvas for a picture I took on my recent helicopter flight over London.
I love the architecture, the different shapes of the buildings and I’m really pleased with how St Paul’s Cathedral (one of my favourite buildings in London) stands out.
Being a huge fan of Instagram, I also ordered some 5 x 5 Photo Blocks which are perfect for Instagram because of their square shape.
Deciding which pictures to get printed on these was ridiculously hard and it probably took me longer to decide which photos to use than it took to actually load them onto the site!
In the end I decided on 2 Instagrams from my year in New Zealand and 2 from my time in Australia.
Just like the canvas these arrived really quickly with no hassle and I can’t fault the quality of both the Canvas and Photo Blocks at all.
Thanks to the lovely people over at Photobox, I’m giving one person the chance to win 4 Photo Blocks so you can also have your Instagram pictures on display.
You don’t have to use them for your Instagram photos though, any photo will fit.
